Islamabad Policy Research Institute publishes its academic research journal (ISSN 1684-9787) eISSN (1684-9809) biannually. The Journal values original intellectual work with scholarly insight. In sync with the institute’s objectives, IPRI Journal primarily caters for Pakistan. It, however, provides information for the international community as well. It also provides a well-articulated, comprehensive and objective analyses of regional and global strategic, political and economic issues, affecting international peace and security. IPRI Journal follows a double-blind peer review (one national and two international) policy. Recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan, in X Category, the Journal is widely documented.
IPRI is one of the oldest non-partisan think-tanks on all facets of National Security including international relations, strategic studies, governance & public policy, and lawfare & economy in Pakistan. Established in 1999, IPRI is affiliated with the National Security Division (NSD), Government of Pakistan.
